Pepper Prawns in coconut milk |
prawns - 400 - 500 gm
oil -1 tb sp
capsicum- 1 medium
curry leaves -5-6
onion - 1 medium
green chilly-1
garlic - 5-6 cloves
pepper powder- 2 tsp
dhaniya powder(coriander)-2 tsp
jeera powder(cumin)-1 tsp
coconut milk - 1/2 cup
Cooking time -15 minutes
Serves -4 persons
Method :
Make a paste of the onion , green chilly & garlic. Heat oil in the pan, add curry leaves. Then add onion, green chilly & garlic paste.Fry for 5 minutes, next add the prawns.
Add the turmeric powder,pepper powder,dhaniya powder, jeera powder& salt.
Cut the capsicum in thin slice & add .Now add the coconut milk.
Pepper Prawns is ready to be served .
P.S. The pepper I use is homemade, in case you're using packed grounded pepper please add according to taste.
