Palak/Spinach Chicken


Palak Chicken 


Ingredients:

Boneless chicken – 500 gms
Spinach puree : 1 bowl
Onion paste – 1 ½ tbsp
Ginger garlic paste -1 tsp
Garam masala –1 tsp
Turmeric powder -pinch
Green chilly -2  
Cream-2 tbsp
Salt – to taste
Oil-2 tbsp

Cooking time – 30 minutes
Serves -4 persons

Method :

Chop the green chillies and keep aside. Cook the spinach for 5 minutes and puree. Heat oil in the pan and add the ginger garlic paste .Next add the onions paste, fry till the oil leaves the paste .Add the chicken & stir so that the chicken is cooked evenly. Let this cook for 5 minutes .Now add the spinach puree to the chicken, cook this for another 5 minutes. Add the salt, pinch of turmeric power & garam masala.

Next add the chopped green chillies, cook this on slow heat with the lid on.Add the cream and cook for another 5 minutes

Serve hot with chappati.
